What Is an Adventist School?
Adventist Education is a worldwide network of schools operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Christian church organization as a service and mission to our communities. The mission of Adventist Education is “To enable learners to develop a life of faith in God, and to use their knowledge, skills, and understandings to serve God and humanity.” Each congregation generously financially supports their local Adventist schools to make Christian education affordable for all families, regardless of their background. Adventist Education embraces students from all backgrounds and faith traditions, while providing Biblically-based character education and a competitive, accredited academic program. Each Adventist school is guided by a local school board and in cooperation with their local Office of Adventist Education.

Adventist Educators use standards as a baseline to guide instruction. Using a combination of classroom observation, projects, authentic assessments, and standardized testing, teachers are able to find areas of growth and success for each student. They’re then able to target specific standards and assist each student on their respective learning journey.
